Champions Tour Heads to Florida for Outback Pro-Am

The players of the Champions Tour are joining celebrities this week in Lutz, Florida (near Tampa) for the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. Committed to participating are comedian, George Lopez; former LPGA star, Nancy Lopez; actors Michael J. Fox and Mark Wahlberg; NFL’s Joe Theismann, Jerry Rice, and Emmitt Smith; and NBC’s Stone Phillips.
Tom Watson, the two-time defending champion, will head a professional field of 70 players, including Tom Kite (pictured above), Hal Irwin, Fuzzy Zoeller, and Craig Stadler.
The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am will be televised Friday on the Golf Channel from 1230pm to 230pm and on NBC Saturday and Sunday from 4pm – 6pm and 1pm – 3pm, respectively.
