    Kori,

    Hi,

    Nice site.

I take a different view on the use of the legs than what this video shows. I really achieved my greatest jump in accuracy when I went to a downswing that was initiated by the feet and legs. It makes great sense when you look the idea.

As the swinging of the golf club is often described as a natural moving pendulum, by beginning the downswing with your feet and legs going forward, your body itself becomes a pendulum with the rest of the bodies movements falling naturally into place. The major difference between a pendulum and what I call a body pendulum is that the body pendulum is anchored in two places instead of one, your feet and your head.

As the force of your bodies movement travels outward and upward and your head remains relatively stable, your shoulders naturally move under your chin with the arms following straight towards the target as the ball is propelled forward.

It is such a natural and completely relaxed way of moving your club that it makes the golf swing a great deal of fun to do.
