Mickelson Tied For Lead
February 8, 2007 by admin

Yeah, I know, it’s only the first round, but Phil Mickelson is tied for the lead at the AT&T Pro Am at Pebble Beach. And truth be told, he could shoot himself right out of the tournament come Sunday, but this first round has got to be good for the confidence.
Also, considering that the weather is more conducive to playing football instead of golf really shows that all the players that shot under par are playing very well. The Golf Channel did a piece last night on Tom Watson’s return one last time to the course where he hit that magical chip shot on the 17th green. Watson wanted to play with his son in the pro-am tournament at the course that helped secure his legacy forever.
