Tiger’s Priorities
The golf columns have been awash with speculation about Tiger’s upcoming priorities now that he has a baby on the way. Though no official due date has been published, it’s probably safe to say that come late summer or early fall, Tiger might not be as popular as one might think. The FedEx Cup will be in the limelight just as the Woods’ family might be coming together and it will be interesting to see how Tiger handles this.
It wouldn’t at all surprise me if Tiger takes some paternity time off to be with his new child and if the timing is right, Tim Finchem and the PGA brass will have a collective coronary. Hey, Tiger has every right to take time off to be with his newborn. However, I’d like to be a fly on the wall at FedEx HQ if Tiger decides to skip a few “playoff” events this year.
