The B5Media network:

Big Break VI – Final Challenge

I wasn’t going to watch last night’s installment of the Big Break VI because it seemed redundant to have the women play the men again. But I’m glad I stayed tuned in because it ended up being a great match. Basically, it was the men against the women, but the twist was that Bri Vega and Denny Hepler had to play all eighteen holes with each of the contestants that got eliminated.

What really made it interesting was that it had the feel if a Skins game with some serious money available on each hole, and the money carried over if there was no outright winner. Hepler and the guys took the early lead and dominated as Vega struggled with all facets of her game. But then she made a couple of key putts that helped with her confidence, and once she got on track, she never looked back.

In the end, she earned $14,000 and a trip to Trump Towers aboard one of his jets to pick up the rest of her winnings. I’d like to see the Big Break go to this format more often. Made for great television.
