Sorenstam Out; Ochoa In
Annika Sorenstam couldn’t put anything together today and missed the cut at the LPGA’s ADT Championship at Trump National Golf Course in West Palm Beach. Lorean Ochoa had to survive a six-person playoff to make it into Saturday’s round of 16, but finds herself 8 shots back of Ai Miyazato.
After Saturday’s round, the field will be cut in half once again and the scores will be reset heading into Sunday’s final round of 8. This is actually turning into a quality broadcast from a viewer perspective, but it’s still possible that the final round could conceiveably comprise the bottom of the field (and that’s not take anything away from these players).
Natalie Gulbis is playing extremely well this week and is only two back of Miyazato, but Paula Creamer and Karrie Webb are lurking as well.
