Ochoa Laps Field to Win

Lorena Ochoa put a huge exclamation point on the final round of the Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions in Mobile, Alabama today. She shot a final-round 65 and won by 10 strokes. Simply amazing. This of course locks up the LPGA Player of the Year for Ochoa and unseats Annika Sorenstam for the first time in almost a decade.
Ochoa was simply a machine today and the only real hiccup was on the 18th when she hit her second shot long and to the right of the green. Her iron shots were pure all day and her putting was equally as good. Hopefully this win will do wonders for her next year when it comes to the majors.
