Inkster Leads LPGA Tournament
Julie Inskter shot a 5-under 67 and finds herself tied with Moira Dunn at the Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions in Mobile, Alabama. Cristie Kerr is one back, Paula Creamer two back, and Lorean Ochoa is three back heading into Saturday. Ochoa needs to have a great tournament in order to keep the pressure on Sorenstam for player of the year.
Paula Creamer needs to try and salvage her year by winning as well as she’s been injured and has had the typical sophmore jinx that accompanies most players. Kerr has had a very good year, though she didn’t a major as she thought she might, but I think next year might be her break-out year in the majors.
