The B5Media network:

Tiger Wins 5th Straight

Tiger Woods continues to steamroll the PGA and this time he left Vijay Singh in his wake. Woods won the Deutsche Bank Championship on Sunday and has now won 5 consecutive tournaments. Singh started the final round with a 3-shot lead over Woods, but by number 10, Singh was trailing by 3 shots, meaning Tiger had made up 6 shots in 9 holes. Amazing.

Though Tiger struggled the first two rounds, he was absolutely drilling his iron shots again and draining putts that needed to go in. He looked clinical today as it appeared all he wanted to do was win, no matter what it took. Vijay didn’t play all the bad, and even pulled within 2 shots on the back nine, but if Singh put his approach inside Tiger’s, Tiger would then drain the putt and put even more pressure on Vijay.

Is it just me, or do you wish the Masters was in a couple of weeks?
