Golf Channel’s Big Break VI – The Geriatrics vs. The Women?
Okay, the details for the Golf Channel’s Big Break VI have come out and it looks like it’s going to be a battle to see who can stay awake long enough on the men’s side versus who will die of boredom on the women’s team. Seriously, there are two winners of the BBVI, one female and one male, and while the female gets to play in two regular LPGA events, the male winner gets to play in (drum roll please) two Champions Tour events. What?
Call me skeptical (I’ve been called worse), but I’m not sure that watching the geriatrics compete against each other and the women will be a lot of fun (from a viewers perspective). (Hey Ralph, I forgot my Depends at the hotel…can you grab ‘em for me!). Also, The format has changed in that the Golf Channel is allowing Donald Trump (since it’s at his resort) to throw his own “twists” into the matches. Oh boy. Instead if hearing “you’re fired”, we’ll be hearing “you’re a hack”, “and you’re old”.
Maybe this the Golf Channel’s attempt at humor? Sadly, I’m sure I’ll watch (as I do pretty much anything with the word “golf” in it).

What tha…?? Just as the Golf Channel was getting to where it was worth watching they go and do something stupid like letting Trump throw his money around. Not that I wouldn’t like for him to throw some my way. That might be what he has to do to get me to what this junk.
