Darren Clarke’s Wife Passes Away From Cancer
It’s truly a sad day for anyone that follows golf with any sort of regularity, as Heather Clarke, wife of Darren, succumbed to cancer early Sunday morning.
Darren Clarke has always been of the classiest players on the European tour and has always treated American fans with the utmost respect.
Darren last played competitive golf on the Friday of the Open Championship, when announced he’d be on hiatus from golf to tend to his wife. I can’t imagine what life would be like without my wife, Marcia.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Darren and his family.
Yes, golf was played today around the world, but we’ll leave it at this for today.
